Ian joined his father’s business in 1973 and is responsible for new business, programming and delivering on all projects, client and subcontractor liaison and anything else that may land on his desk. Ian is a keen skier, so may be best not to contact him during the skiing season. Ian is a devoted family man and loves (in no particular order) traveling, music, the business, food and life in general.

Managing Director
Roger joined the Clements clan back in 2011 after knowing Ian as far back as when he had highlights in his hair! He has been in commercial construction since the days when a mobile phone was attached to a ‘suitcase’ sized battery! As well as the day to day behind the scenes running of the business alongside Ian, Mel and Paul, he is responsible for tendering, programming, organising labour and client and sub-contractor liaison. He is devoted to his family, a classic car enthusiast, enjoys motor renovations, films, music, reading, dining out and traveling.

Jo was a client of Clements for years before joining the fam in 2021. Having worked in industries as diverse as retail, music, architecture and design, Jo will basically wag her perfectionist finger at anything, but was especially thrilled to work with Roger again. Her interests lie mainly in art, food, a good story and a dark wit.

Yolanda is the newest member of the family, having previously been a client of Clements for many years. She has a vast amount of experience and has overseen and managed numerous refurbishment programmes, the last being a £16 million, four-star hotel refurb. Around the office she assists the Directors and Project Managers in purchasing, health and safety requirements, invoicing and anything else Ian asks her to do! Yolanda loves traveling, food (especially desserts), going out with the girls and coffee – it has to be good coffee, our Yolanda is a bit of a coffee snob.

Steve has been with Clements since 2015. He has a hands-on approach and oversees all IT infrastructure throughout relevant projects. Despite being an IT specialist, Steve’s go-to technical advice is ‘switch it off and on again’. When Steve isn’t working you can usually find him at music concerts, football matches, the cinema, swimming, traveling, eating out or gardening.

Andy was taken on in 1998 under the assumption that he was somebody else. Happily, this was someone else’s loss and our gain! And is responsible for all joinery leaving our workshop. Three years ago, he requested that we keep a couple of carriage rails saved from an old panel saw that was being scrapped, as he wanted to make a CNC machine from scratch in his spare time. Two years later we have our own, homemade CNC machine! When not making model land rover defenders from mobility scooters for his grandson, or outdoor pizza ovens, Andy enjoys spending time with his family.
Workshop Manager / CAD Operator
Andy first joined the team in 1976 as Labourer/Trainee, but moved on to other Shop Fitting companies in 1979 before starting his own business in 1982. He returned to the fold in 2013 with a wealth of experience and is now the on-site link and co-ordinator on all aspects of the job, including keeping everyone happy! Andy has a close family and four fantastic grandchildren that keep him busy. He enjoys his sporty holidays and always has a building project on the go at home.

His uncle introduced him to Ian and Roger and he joined Clements in January 2015 as a Site Operative. He gained experience of running the site side of things and micromanaging subcontractors/colleagues, getting involved in every aspect of construction, carpentry and joinery and was promoted to Site Manager. His Irish heritage means he has a keen interest in Rugby, Guinness and dining out.
